The pictures tell the story.
These are some of my favorites from 2007-2008
| I joined the Carlton Clan at Key Hook Ranch, outside Evanston, Wyoming, for Labor Day 2007. (I’m third from the left.) Activities included: fishing, guitar playing, barbecuing, watching wildlife and just hanging out on the deck. |

This handsome Bull Moose waited patiently while I fumbled with my camera. We were headed to the crick for some evening fly-fishing when we saw him. |

On a research trip to Arcata, Calif. in October, I stumbled upon Pastels on the Plaza.
Local artists created beautiful sidewalk murals while shoppers strolled through the Saturday morning farmer’s market. All that and blue grass music, too! |

My night job is teaching English as Second Language at the local community college. Although potlucks are a uniquely American custom, my students from Mexico, Thailand and Russia seemed to enjoy themselves. This was our end of spring semester celebration.

I visited my daughter, Lili, in Walnut Creek in June. We share a love of ice cream.

Bonding with my granddogs.
I also have three grandcats and two grand (guinea) piggies.

San Francisco, open your Golden Gate!
The 28th Annual Conference of Romance Writers of America is coming to the
City by the Bay. I’ll be there from July 30 to Aug. 3. Am I excited? Oh, yeah.
