Welcome to My World
I’ve been cocooning and collecting lately. During the summer in southern Nevada, you don’t want to be outdoors after noon. Trust me. Where I live, the temperature rarely dips below triple digits and can hit highs over one hundred and twenty degrees. Yes, you can fry an egg on the sidewalk.
I’m staying under the air conditioning, writing, decorating and watching old movies. In the morning, you might find me at one of the local thrift shops, where I’ve found unique home accessories that cost less than a cup of coffee. I just love a bargain!
I’m thrilled to announce that I finished my third novel, working title, THE DRUNKARD’S PATH. It’s longer than my first two books, and packed with fun, adventure, and romance. I hope to catch a publisher’s interest soon. In the meantime, I’ll be working on book four.

Tortillas and Second Chances is a page-turner. I read it in one sitting, not wishing to leave the characters. Sylvia Renfro composes a consistent, flowing read that allows the reader to feel the stirring emotions of the characters. This sensational book has all the right elements that bring together family, friends, miscommunication, and an extraordinary love through the years that is definitely meant to be.

“An excellent sweet romance!”
This sweet romance had me enthralled as I wanted to see what the outcome with Poppy and Josh would be. I could just tell they were meant for each other, even if neither thought so. I was pulling for them the entire book and, of course, Sylvia Renfro had me wondering if there would be a happy ending right up to the very end! I highly recommend this story.

It may only be a short 186 pages, but that doesn’t stop POPPY’S PLACE from being a delightful story! I’ll certainly watch for more of her future works.
